Le Bistrot du Porc

Words of wisdom that heal & nourish

THE TODAY'S SPECIAL

FOR HAVING A NICE DAY
Carpe Diem

This Latin phrase basically says to enjoy yourself
while you have a chance.
It originates from the Odes, Bk I, xi by the poet Horace
(1st century BC)i:
Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero
(Seize the day, put no trust in the future)
PS  Note the nice play on words in 'Today's Special'; today is special.

Do not dwell in the past,
do not dream of the future,
concentrate the mind on the present moment.

(Buddha)

Food for Thought

Are you cherishing the things that make you happy?
Or
Are you cherishing the things that make you unhappy?
