Tales from the Northern Forests

Clocks go forward

27 March 2016
26 March 2017

On the last Sunday in March at 1am the clocks in the UK go forward
1 hour. This means there is an extra hour of daylight in the evenings. The period when the clocks are 1 hour ahead is called British Summer Time (BST). At 2am on the last Sunday in October the clocks will go back 1 hour again.

In the meantime how will we spend that extra hour?
Outdoors in the soft glow of the evening sun or indoors glued to
a screen?
