Warm & Sweet Autumn Rice

A recipe worth keeping


Ingredients

1 cup of brown rice
1 1/3 cups cold water
1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

handful of raisins
and

1/8 teaspoon each of grounded:
cinnamon
coriander
cumin
ginger
turmeric

Wash the rice and let it drain for half an hour.
Put in a thick-bottomed pan and add the water and salt.
Let it soak for another half hour.
Then add the above ingredients to the rice and
cook the rice slowly on a medium to low heat.
