In today's world of science, technology and formal education, old wisdom and simple truths are often forgotten. Sometimes passed on to us by our ancient ancestors, sometimes just discovered yesterday, they could be of immense help in understanding and coping with daily life.
Therefore, it is Book of Tales' mission to collect this old wisdom and simple truths and present them to you, but in a way that will hopefully entertain and amuse you. Because,
once upon a time in a land far, far away, there was and there was not, the most beautiful palace with windows of crystal, walls decorated with gold, silver and lapis lazuli, and diamond chandeliers hanging from high ceilings.
But the King and Queen who lived in this wonderful palace had left, to travel the world and the seven seas and they had taken with them all the princes and princesses.
But they had left behind the wizard, the purveyor to the court, the poet and the royal draughtsman to send them messages, stories and tales from the palace.
So that they would not forget about it during their travels and to make sure that they could find their way back home.
